This is a manta ray pendant. I made a pendant with the official name manta ray. I cut out silver bullion and made it all by hand press's [Uchi-dashi]. For the overall form, I tried to create the image of a scene in which the figure is gently flying. After embossing, the shape was adjusted by filing and scraping, and fine lines and lines were produced by hair carving and katagiri carving. Finally, I applied a spatula and finished with polish. I think I was able to create the fluffy feeling of the manta rays and the slimy feeling of being in the water.
マンタのペンダントです。正式名称オニイトマキエイのペンダントを製作しました。銀地金を切り出して全て打出しで造りました。全体のフォルムはふわりと飛んでいるような情景をイメージを心掛けました。打ち出した後に鑢がけとキサゲで形を整えていき、毛彫りと片切彫りで細かな線やラインを出していきました。最後はヘラがけしてポリッシュで仕上げました。マンタのフワリ感と水中のヌメっとした感じが出せたのではと思います。
