ITALU-YA.OrdermadeHistory No.239:Caucasoid Anatomical Silver Skull Ring
This was a custom-made skull ring made from a Caucasian skull. The skull, which is a culmination of the beauty of human skeletal structure, was the motif for this ring, and the client even specified the number of teeth: 14 in the upper jaw and 16 in the lower jaw. While heavy items like this are usually made lighter by hollowing out the inside of the ring, this men's skull ring was crafted from silver 925, weighing just over 50g, with no hollowing at all.
コーカソイドの頭蓋骨でスカルリングを作りたいというオーダーメイドでした。人間の頭蓋骨は時代、人種、地域で異なるカタチをしています。ホモサピエンスが誕生して30万年以来刻々と変わる脳の容積、気候、環境、食事内容に応じて頭蓋骨も変化しています。人間の骨格造形美の集大成ともいうべきスカル「頭蓋骨」をモティーフとし上顎歯14本・下顎歯16本と歯の本数までご指定頂いた指輪製作でした。通常はこの様なヘヴィーアイテムは裏抜き等をして軽量化を図りますが裏抜きは一切なしの50gオーヴァーのSILVER925で製作したメンズスカルリングです。
